  1. Call to order by moderator, or in his absence, by clerk, treasurer, or pastor of entertaining church.
  2. Reading of church letters and enrolling messengers: readers appointed by Moderator
  3. Petitionary letters.
  4. Recognize and welcome visitors
  5. Elect Revolving Loan Officers
  6. Appoint special committees
    1. Obituary Committee
  7. Choose speaker for Saturday morning service.
  8. Recess for Committee meetings
    1. Missionary
    2. Encampment Committee
    3. Revolving Loan Committee
  9. Committee reports.
  10. Select speaker for next Annual Sermon:
    NOTE: Annual sermon given in evening of the first day of the Association
  11. Select place for next annual meeting.
  12. Determine how many Minutes and terms of Clerk hire.
  13. AMENDMENTS: This order may be changed temporarily by consent of messengers or amended by three-fourths vote of messengers present.
  14. Elect officers.


NOTE:

  1. This order of business was changed by amendment in the 2005 session of the Northwestern Association.
  2. Election of Officers was moved from #4 to #14 at the 2017 Annual Business meeting.
